The extra $5 is what Royal Caribbean charges any outside company that delivers wine, fruit, flowers, etc to the ship. Of course, the $5 charge is passed on to the customer. This is Royal Caribbean's way of encouraging folks to order gifts from their own suppliers, and not an outside company.

Anyone have the number for this company? or a list of what you can order? I would be interested in sending a wine basket to our friends....1st time on a cruise, thought it might be a nice idea.

So Dave what do you think of this...is it a reputable company? After hearing about the beer delivery.... kind of makes me wonder. Hate to ordr a basket and find out it is a scam..

I have no experience with this company and cannot make a recommendation. I'm still trying to reconcile how RCI would allow the beer to be delivered by a company but not allow an individual to do the same thing. What is different about this? RCI isn't making the profit on the bar sales in either case. They are not in a position to regulate consumption (one of the reasons they gave when they cracked down last summer). And they are not able to control underage drinking.

This whole thing is just baffling to me. I for one have no interest in having cases of beer delivered to my cabin. When I want a beer I'll call room service or go to a bar.

Dave, I too agree with you in being baffled. Only thing I can think of is RCL does not know this is going on, maybe the company has an in with a staff member who is getting a cut. Who knows?? I am just interested in a gift basket, think it would be a nice gesture. Hey maybe I will send a basket to myself, ya a rum basket. Too funny.

thanks for posting a review of your experience...I would have put it in an insulated cup, very surprized you had no problem with cans even at dinner. Will definately give them a shot next time I sail.
