Obnoxious people on your cruise !

hi ken thats all well being, but have you never thought of the people who have never cruised before. its very annoying. you wonder why all lot of people never cruise because of obnoxiuos snoby passengers.

Actually I don't wonder that. The cruise industry is growing at a record pace. I don't have my facts together, so I won't throw numbers but I think I would be safe to say the industry isn't suffering.

As for me, I am going to keep cruising in spite of, rude, obnoxious, snobby and pompous repeat cruisers.

I probably would have just stared at her like she was crazy. Maybe tilted my head, ever so slightly. If I was REALLY p'd off I would have shaken my head from side to side like I was witnessing the most abominable behavior ever!

Well this will be strange but I have to tell you what happen in my last cruise.
One night I was on the elevator of the carnival Destiny with my wife
as we got out of the elevator we start talking about how the ship was moving, how was the midnight buffet etc., problem is we were talking in Spanish since is our first language, we were going down the hall and other passenger told us “excuse me” in order to pass us so I told my wife to let him pass, and after that we just keep talking.
What happens next is what surprises me
For some reason, don’t know why, he start saying:
“Whatever man I don’t care”
“If you don’t like it I will f… you up”
“That’s life”
I believe he doesn’t understand Spanish and he was think we were talking about him, believe me that was not the case.
I was ready to say something to him and then I started thinking
“I am with my wife having Fun; maybe he is drunk, I don’t want to ruin our trip”
So I just ignored him
The world is full of rude people if you look for trouble you will find it
At the end a discussion with him will have ended on a bigger problem, they will disembark us in the next port of call, and then we will have ended the trip after only one day of cruising NICE!!!
Sometimes the best option is to think with your head, not with your anger and do what you think is right.
I never saw him again during the cruise, but I will always believe he was just a rude drunk moron…
