I remember reading a while ago all the discussion about Johnny Rockets on The Mariner of the Seas. What is the latest news on Johnny Rockets? Do they charge you a cover charge to eat there? Or have they dropped that?

The cover charge still applies. It's $3.50 per person for all you can eat. If you are a Crown & Anchor member there are coupons for Johnny Rockets. I have to admit, since they started charging a cover charge it's not over run with kids. I only eat there once during each cruise.
Great hambergers and onion rings. Soda is not free of charge. Johnny Rockets is something you have to do at least once while on your cruise. Best time is when at a port of call when most people are off the ship.
It is worth the price of admission, and of course C&A members get a complimentary coupon for one visit. I like the onion rings, and of course the great burgers (I think they are better than those offered in the buffet).
Sonny is right about another thing - do Rockets while in port. There won't be much of a line at the door.
My chocoholic wife is curious if they have chocolate milk shakes at Rockets.
