Radiance of the Seas

We are planning a first cruise in March 2003 and live in Florida. Rather than cruise to Key West or the Bahamas (which is what some of the ports are in the Western and Eastern Carribean), we thought about the Southern Carribean cruise from San Juan.

In your opinion, what is the better choice for us:

1. Southern Carribean on the Radiance of the Seas or Western or Eastern Carribean on the Enchantment of the Seas or Voyager of the Seas?

2. We would like an ocean view cabin with a balcony.....any recommendations on the above mentioned ships as to which deck, etc. to choose?

Any information is greatly appreciated!

Having sailed on all three ships, my personal preference would be the "Radiance" out of San Juan. I loved the "Voyage" and enjoyed that trip, but the "Radiance" is a bit classier (my opinion) and a happy compromise between the "Enchantment" and the "Voyager". RCI has taken the best of both and combined them into a wonderful ship that is elegant, stylish, yet loads of fun! It has the rock climbing wall, and miniature golf, but not the ice skating rink of the Voyager. I also like the southern ports a bit better - They are a bit more exotic.

After posting my last reply I realized I had not responded to the second part of your question. On the Radiance - I would recommend a Category E3 cabin midship. The location is perfect and the cabin is the same as the the more expensive E2 and E1 category.
