People often come to this forum and ask "why should I use an agent?"
Here is why:
Our upcoming cruise on the Grandeur is not cheap, despite it being on an older ship. We initially booked an inside cabin, then upgraded to a balcony cabin (D2 category). This morning I noted that our price had dropped significantly...$600. But we have made final payment and RCI is not keen on refunds once final payment is made. But then I noted that a junior suite (
JS category) was now the same price as our D2 cabin. So I contact my agent, a great "cruise specialist". We went over the options. I asked to be moved to a
JS for no extra cost. She called RCI, talked to the right people, and we were moved to the
JS suite and for no extra fees, they even kept our taxes the same.
I love my agent! She always goes the extra mile for me.
I am going to send her a dozen roses.
