Stateroom Recommendations on Freedom?

We just got back (yesterday) from Freedom. We were on deck 6 with a balcony. I personally would never not get a balcony. Someone else had stated Promenade views may be loud..We had a couple parades during our cruise. There are also bands/musicians playing throughout night. I would post some pics now but don't have camera with me.
Freedom is big. At every elevator there is a map of where things are located (Aft or forward) I had to look at map everyday. Certain things you may not go to often enough..Spa, gym,etc So it will help to make sure you get on right elevator. I will post more detailed review later

Hey Cookiestogo I am sure you will love the Freedom of Seas. We were on Independence this past Feb and will be on the Liberty of Seas in Mar 2011. Be sure to take in the ice skating show. We had a promenade cabin on Deck 8. Never had a concern about noise during parades or shows that take place on the Promenade because we were usually down on the Promenade partaking in the action. When we travelled in Feb, Promenade cabin was cheap. Just over $400 per person so we grabbed it. I do prefer the balcony cabin though to enjoy breakfast outside in the morning or late a night sitting and watching the stars. We have booked a balcony for Mar 2011 on Liberty because it is 8 days long and we are travelling with our son and the Promenade cabins only fit 2 people.
