We were on Majesty last month for the 4 day and loved it.Next april we booked a js on the Sovereign to get the 2 cruise credits so we become platinum.I have an air fare question.RCI wants to charge us $419.00 per person from chicago.I can get airfare for half that price.Have you ever done your own air?

I have not had to fly to a port yet; I live in Florida and 20 minutes to Tampa, and 2 hours to Fort Lauderdale. However, in January, we are sailing on the Vision out of LA, and now will HAVE to fly. We bought our airfare from Expedia and it was $329 round trip from Tampa to LA non-stop! Great deal! I think $419 is high for a fare from Chicago. You can certainly do better than that. One important thought: be sure to fly as early in the departure day as you can, or even the day before. You just don't want to rush yourself on sailing day. You never know what may happen on departure day with airlines.
We are flying out on Saturday, and sailing on Sunday.

we are flying usair out of charlotte for $79 each way to orlando we thought its a good deal...Flying out of charlotte can be expensive.

I always do my own air. Never had a problem.
