I am sailing on Librty of the Seas next week. In doing my online check in, , I was asked for my on board expense account, whether I would pay my on board charges in the currency of my card or if I chose to have my credit card issuer convert my onboard charges to the currency of my card in lieu of participating in the Royal Carribean International Currency Conversion Program. Which choice am I better off making - does anyone know?

You want to have it is the currency of your card which from your New York location I assume you have a US credit card.

Yes, you want to have the on board charges in US Dollars for a US issued Credit Card. All of the charges will be made in US Dollars.
