Weather in Early Dec

Going on our first cruise (mariner) dec 05-12 to the eastern Caribbean. Having always traveled to the Caribbean in spring and early summer, just curious of daily temps and rain during this time. Have reviewed averages on weather.com and noaa but wanted to hear from those that are more seasoned and who have been in this area during this time of year....

Went to the Eastern Caribbean the week of Thanksgiving last year (11/23-11/30) and the weather was FANTASTIC!!! We were in Nassau, St. Thomas and La Romana, DR - it was mid-80's every day and the evenings were wonderful -- we did, however, hit some rough seas, but that was the worst of it. They had plenty of "drugs" for seasickness in the infirmary.
