Question about RCI Liquor Policy

Hi, this is my first post. A group of friends and I wanted to go on a 2004 sailing of the Serenade Of The Seas. Our ages range from 19-26. Were aware of the 25+ requirement for booking, but I'm still confused about their liquor policy. It says that guests 18 and over will be allowed to consume beer and wine. Does this exclude liquor? How will the bartenders know if someone is over 18, but under 21? Are you allowed to drink if you meet the qualifying age of 18 or do you have to have a release signed by your parent or guardian? If this is a requirement can you have your parents sign this release ahead of time or do they have to be present. One last question. If RCI doesn't allow people under 21 to drink spirits would bartenders accept "a tip" at the begining of the cruise to get around this rule? I don't want to sound like a liquor crazed party animal, but having fun is an important factor in our vacation planing.

I just got back from a cruise on the voyager of the seas.I'm 19
#1. 18-20 are only allowed to drink beer and wine.
#2. The will automatically know how old you are because the card you get to charge everything you buy the ship will have 2 holes in it for under 18, 1 hole if your 18-20 and no hold if over 20.
#3. My parents had to sign a paper to allow me to drink so i don't know if the 25 year old can sign for you or not you might need your parents to sign a paper.
#4. A tip to a bartender would not help you becuase you don't you cash for anything on the ship just that card. only place cash is used is the casino

Bring your own alcohol , beer, what ever drink up just dont fall of the ship
