I think the way things are going we will not be able to afford to cruise any longer which i think is really sad.
the flights for us are really expensive. were going on the independence next april 09 just for a one way ticket from manchester to ft laurderdale were looking at around £1000 ($2000) for 2 tickets.
cruising will be only for the rich in the next couple of years just like it was in the early 80s. when we were on the liberty in april 08 the captain said there was 20% of english on board, this will dramatically drop over the years as no one will be able to afford the flights and the cost of rccl fuel price increases.
something must be done.
