Carnival Pride or Vision of the Seas

I am looking into taking a Mexican Riviera cruise on either the Vision of the Seas or Carnival Pride. Any thoughts? Has anyone been on both and can compare the two? Thanks for your help.

Although I have not cruised on the Pride, I have tried the Carnival Victory. The ship was OK.
I have cruised on the Vision and it was wonderful! A beautiful ship in every way.
Last week, I was on the Adventure of the Seas and that ship blew us away!

i just spent 14 days on the pride, not happy with it. its a beautiful ship, but it stops there.

I have been on the Pride and am sailing on the Vision on 10/26. The Pride is a geogeous ship. You will NOT be disappointed. Try the Miami-Vice drink at one of the bars it is AWESOME. We loved the food in the buffet, but the main dining room food was mediocre. Enjoy!

I'm going on a Carnival Pride Cruise 10/16 and I've heard great things about the pride. I have not heard great things about th Vision of the Seas.

Hi Justin,

Both ships and itinaries are wonderful, however it all about what you are looking for. If you are looking for a excellent cruise and quality then I would recommend Vision of the Seas. But if you looking for budget then Pride would be the next best thing.

I truely believe that the best cruise is when I have plenty to do and the customer service and food is GREAT.
