It's been awhile since I cruised; can you still bring wine on board if you give it to the perser for him to hold until you want it? I want it with dinner. I know you used to be able to bring a bottle or two on, then they got tight. Are they still tight? Thanks.

Welcome to cruise-chat.

Royal Caribbean no longer allows alcohol of any type to be brought aboard by passengers. Here is their official policy.

We're not too happy about that either, grizz.
Seems like a cold frosty one or a glass of wine should be included with meals if they're not going to allow you to byob.

If we had known RCC was that strict, we probably would have reserved elsewhere. Not a good move for them, in my honest opinion.

You can have wine or beer with your dinner; just let you waiter know what you want.

Tacha, yes you can purchase gifts for multiple bottles of wine, but these are designed for giving as gifts to friends or family that are going on a cruise (you are buying them the wine) But if you are going on the cruise yourself, you would not be saving any money doing this. You are better off buying the wine a bottle at a time.
