Baltic or Mediterranean?

We are planning a 20th anniversary cruise- which itinerary would cruisers recommend- Baltic Capitals or the Mediterranean/Italy? We want to experience something really great and special. Thanks

We've done both and both were really great and special. But if I had to pick one for a special anniversary, I would say do the Mediterranean/Italy; it's just simply more romantic.

Both areas have great cruises, lots of interesting sights. Baltic is a little less crowded and is a little cooler. That would make it better in July or August but Mediterranean would be better in May June or September.
