can you use cash on the ship?

also for that card they give you what if you dont want have a credit card for them to use for that card. do they accept cash up front so you know what your spending. thanks alot cash

The only place you use cash on the ship is in the casino, possibly also buying bingo cards. If you don't want to use a credit card to set up your shipboard account, they will take cash or travelers checks, but may require at least $500 up front, possibly more. Ask your travel agent about this - or if you don't have one, call the cruise line and ask.

If you don't have a credit card, do you have a bank debit card? They will use those as well, but they will check to see if you have the money available.
