sorry lol.. i am trying to make a sigature. how do i get my ticker to stay on all the time? or do i have to paste it each time?

You need to copy and paste it into your signature (the BB code), in your profile section. Click on the Go, click on Personal Profile, click on Edit, go down to your signature box, and paste the code in there. That should work.
