Can someone please help me understand this beverage system on the RCL. From what I understand you can buy a soda mug for the outragious prices already mentioned on here, and that gets you unlimited soda for the week, anywhere on the ship. But what about other drinks? Is there free juice, ice tea, lemonade and water at all times, throughout the ship? Even in the restaurants? We are not soda drinkers, but more punch, ice tea drinkers. Should we buy one card? A second question is in regards to the wine packages. Do they offer this to you your first night in the dining room? On the Disney ship you were able to buy a 3, 5 or 7 bottle package. They then delivered your wine to your table each evening and stored the unfinished bottles for you for the next evening. Is it the same on RCL?

Juice is available in the morning. The buffet area usually has iced tea and lemonade available throughout the day and you can always order iced tea in the dining room with your meal. Water is available 24/7 - of course you will have to purchase bottled water.

Yes, they do offer a wine package. There will be staff manning the wine display outside the buffet area on the day you board and you can purchase one of the various wine packages at that time. A copy of the Wine Package Menu can be found on the RC page of the CruiseReviews website ( http://www.cruisereviews.com/RoyalCaribbean/Splendour26...eandDineBrochure.pdf ) I believe it is also available on the first night in the dining room, but it is much easier to purchase it right away and a bottle will be waiting for you on your first night at dinner.

Hi tntlisi, welcome to cruise-chat.
Unless you drink a lot of soda, it's not worth purchasing the refillable mug. You will find can soda in your mini fridge for $1.50 per can. You won't have to pay for ice tea, punch, or lemonade anywhere on the ship. Free juices in the morning also. There are ice cream machines in the Windjammer and on the pool deck that are also free. Wine can be ordered the way you mentioned on the Disney ship. Or, you can just ask you waiter and he will have a wine steward come to your table. You also can request a bottle of wine to be brought to your stateroom.
