This will be our 2nd cruise and we wanted to have the ever popular "Balcony" experience. However, the photo's that are provided don't really show much. We were considering a balcony on the 6th deck (not the aft). Are the balconies on this deck and ship obstructed when sitting, or is there glass? Please help.

There are Category E1 and E2 staterooms on Deck 7---choose those. Deck Six balcony railings/walls are different and in my opinion not as desirable as those on Decks 7 and up.

If you are flexible with your plans, perhaps you might consider cruising on the Mariner or the Navigator--the two Voyager-class ships that have the full-glass balcony walls that I think you are looking for.

We cruised on Voyager in January. We were in cabin 6540. One full wall of the balcony was steel and the other was glazed glass. The front was metel to waist high. Hope this helps.
