I am leaving Saturday for Jamaica, Haiti, Mexico and Grand Caymen. I've been checking the weather for all the islands and am seeing showers EVERY day. Do you think it will be like that all day? Or is it a scattered thing?

It rains most every day in the tropics. Usually doesn't last long, but if it does, who cares. You're not at work, don a rain coat, buy an umbrella, and enjoy. You can't predict mother nature or control her, so you just have grin and bare it I doubt seriously it'll be a total wash out!
That is true and really we have passed the rainy season for the Caribbean at least until October. Penny is right, every island gets a little rain every day but if you don't like it, wait about twenty minutes and the sun will be a blazing!
Completely. We did the US Virgin Islands a couple years back and over a week and a half, it rained everyday- some days literally POURED. However, the sun was still shining during the showers 90% of the time and the pouring turned to radiant sun in minutes. Don't worry- you'll probably actually find these rain showers refreshing!
