Day of cruise

I have been reading some things about leaving early like a day before for the cruises, we didn't do this we are leaving out at 6am on the morning of the 6th of May and will arrive at Miami at 10am i hope this is enough time even if there are delays the ship doesn't leave out until 5pm this is why we decided to fly out on the same day. Can anyone tell me if this will be okay enough time I truly hope so.

Is this a non-stop flight, or do you need to make a connection? And, if you're making a connection, how much time do you have between flights?

This is a non stop flight we should arrive in Miami at 10am.

I would call the cruiseline and see what time is the latest that they check luggage in. Eventhouhg the ship may not leave until 5pm, they may not allow you to come aboard after a certain time.

With a non-stop flight, chances are excellent that you'll be fine.

Sprit, I think you'll be ok, especially since you're flying in May and not February. A scheduled arrival time of 10am still gives you some wiggle room in case of delays.

You're going to be fine. By the time you get your luggage and grab a cab for the 20 minute ride to the Port of Miami, people should just be starting to board. You really have the perfect arrival time. You don't really want to be at the port before 11am. Most of the time you won't be able to board before 11:30.

I loved cruising out of Miami. It's my favorite port. Try to be on the top deck when the ship departs. The ship will be in the canal with a causeway running parallel with the ship. People stop their cars, get out and wave to the ship as you leave. It's a great feeling.
