HELP!!! I am obsessed with ironing. I iron every article of clothing. Can I bring an iron on board the ship? I have heard conflicting reports whether the Voyager has a self service ironing area.
Laveccha, irons aren't allowed on the cruise ships. I'd suggest bringing a portable steamer like my family. On the first day just steam everything and after that you don't need to do it anymore. It's a cruise, have fun. People don't pay that much attention to wrinkles.

Some people pack an iron, but, because of the potential fire hazard irons are not allowed in your stateroom. We have a portable steamer and it works great. If you pack your clothes in plastic bags you may not have any wrinkles it them. If you really need to have something pressed, your cabin steward can have it done for you.
I strongly advise against bring an iron as that is indeed a major fire hazard. A portable steamer is an excellent and much safer alternative. As far as I know, "Voyager of the Seas" does not have a self-service launderette.
