Another Enchantment of the Seas Question (room service)

I just booked this cruise and have a million questions. What is the room service like on this ship? We are travelling with 4 children (3, 5, 9, and 11 years) and I think room service would be convenient sometimes for the kids. What times is this available, how is the service, and what types of food choices are there? Is there an extra charge? Also, are there refrigerators in the rooms, we have 2 junior suites booked. Thanks for any advice!

Your kids will have a blast with room service. They can order sandwiches and all sorts of things any time they want. While thre is no charge for room service, if you do not tip the server, it will really slow down. Have a stack of dollar bills and make sure that you kids tip everytime they order and it will be nothing but fun for them. Room service was one of the things my son really liked about cruising when he was young.

Yes, there is a refrigerator in your cabin. Note that it will come stocked with cocktails, soft drinks, candy and other snacks. They all cost money! Have your room steward clean it out before your kids find it or it will add more money to your bill...VBG.

The Enchantment is a great choice.

When we sailed the Enchantment this past February with our daughters we had room service for breakfast the morning we were tendered to the port in Belize, this gave a little more time to get ready and not so rushed. It really worked out great. What I also liked about the room service is that they called to let you know they were on their way down to the room, which was very nice.

You are going to LOVE the Enchantment! We did have a bit of a problem with the breakfast room service which we ordered for 6:30...it didn't come until well after 7:15 and we had to get off the ship for an excursion at 8:00. It was a busy morning apparently, because lots were doing room service...but....we ended up running to the Windjammer for a quick bite before the tender left.....SO...if you have an early morning scheduled.....just remind room service how important it is to have your food at the time you need it.
