If you want to go ahead and book your excursion before you cruise- does the excursion give you the time it starts once booked. We would like to book several prior to departure, however don't know if schedules will criss cross???

As you start to book the excursion online, one of the screens gives you the time it starts. It seems as if most of them start immediately after you dock.

We usually picked a morning time, returned to eat lunch on the ship, and then shopped the afternoon.
They do have several time slots to choose from on some excursions.

You should receive a booklet of excursions with your ship information...but when you book online, it usually tells you the length of the excursion, cost and what time to be on the pier...

Depending on how long you are in port, some of the excursions do not start immediately upon docking. Some excursions have a morning departure as well as an afternoon departure. This is usually represented by A or B. You can generally pick your preference. Upon boarding the ship you should have an envelope on your bed with all of your excursion tickets. When you book the excursions, you can view a screen on the website that gives you all the information that you are seeking.

I agree wholeheartedly with cousins formula:

tour in the morning when it's cooler; lunch onboard; then shopping or just walking around on our own in the afternoon.
