Least expensive way to take my 4 children

I won a cruise on Freedom of the seas for March 8th for myself and my wife from my company. It does not include taking my children and I am trying to find out the least expensive way to take them with me. Type of room does not matter just trying to get the best deal possible. 4 kids can be expensive. Any Ideas out there? Shoud I book direct or go thru a travel agent?

Nice prize! You'll enjoy the Freedom. Please use an agent who specializes in cruises. Don't try to coordinate this on your own. An agent doesn't cost you anything. The on-line price is going to be at least the same as an agent can get you, and the agent may have some cheaper space available. More importantly, this could be a complicated booking and you need a professional cruise specialist handling it.

I wouldn't waste any time. That cruise is already inside the final payment period, meaning whatever you book will need to be paid in full at the time of booking. There also may not be a lot of open cabins.

RCI has rules regarding the ages of persons in separate cabins too. Children can be booked in adjacent cabins to their parents. I just looked and there are some adjacent balcony cabins which interconnect still open - just what you need. This will require your cabin assignment to be changed. Deck 6 in particular is where these interconnecting cabins are located.

Thanks again. I am going to get something finalized in the next couple days. Also my wife and I are going to separate and put her and the 3 girls in one and me and my son in the other.

Hi Jason, the best scenario I found is if you would relocate your cabin to cabin 7536, which is forward from where your are now. 7536 is an E-1 also. There is an inside cabin quad cabin#7535, just across the hall that's available as of now. All of your kids could stay in that cabin because you're close enough. The cost for all four kids would be $2,453.92. That price is what I could have booked if for today. I doesn't included any discounts such as senior rates.

I'm not an agent, but I get this kind of information from RCCL as a perk.
