Cruising on the Mariner 5-7

I am cruising on the Mariner this Sunday. Are the rumors true about bed bugs? Should I bring Lysol to disinfect the room? Also, a friend asked me to bring back a "good" bottle of rum I am not a drinker, so can anyone recommend a good rum?

Good rum hmmmm! There are many but Dollar for Dollar the Appleton Estate Amber Rum is great. Prices in Canada for about $30 for 1.4 litre bottle. Very good rum, your friend will appreciate it. As for bed bugs. I'm sure you will not find any. Regardless, Lysol won't kill them. I wouldn't worry about it

Thanks for the info. I will let you know how it is. i have been on Carnival 5 times and Princess once. This will be my first RC cruise and I can't wait!
