Hi All,
I am new to this site and wondered if any of you had suggestions to help me decide between the Voyager and Radiance ships for my next cruise. It will be just my husband and myself (maybe my in-laws, but not sure).
Thanks,
Ruth
hi there,
welcome to the group, well I can say that I am going on a Voyager ship in Sept.I heard they are fantastic,I am nu to cruising also as our 1st one was last year on another line,I am so looking forward to another trip,
If there are no kids going, I would opt for the Radiance class ships. They have everything going for them and tend to be more suitable for adults, whereas the Voyager class are for families all the way.
We have sailed both and prefer the Voyager (Explorer)class. Just more elegant and laid out nicer. Just came back from Serenade - nice boat but booked our next cruise (Southern Caribbean) on Adventure of the Seas!
Ruth,
Throwing my 2 cents into the mix, I would vote for the Radiance class also. While I have totally enjoyed all 4 of my Voyager class cruises - I preferred the Radiance class for its ambiance and design. Also, think it is better suited to adults, than families.

Gee,
Thanks for all the input. I loved the thought of an ice show at sea, but my husband liked the idea of self-leveling billiards tables. So, I thought I would try to get some opinions to help us decide. I have grandchildren that I know would love to go on one of the Voyager ships, so maybe we will opt for the Radiance class this time and do a Voyager with the whole family. Our last cruise on RC was on the Majesty, so I am sure either one would be grand in comparison. How about the spas and specialty restaurants between the two? Much differene?
