I like to get a balcony on deck 7 because they have a longer span (balcony wise). Is that the same for most RCI ships on deck 7? I once had a reply of someone on the hump on deck 7 that had 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a big table on their balcony...bonus! I would say.

We booked a hump cabin on our upcoming Brilliance cruise because the balcony is bigger. This way we can invite our traveling companions who are doing an inside up for drinks!

So how do you get the drinks to the cabin?

We provide the Balcony, they provide the drinks! That ios of course unless RCCL has outlawed drinking in the cabin altogether (heard rumors). If that is the case, they will be soft drinks.

Where did you hear this rumor? I hope it's not true - I really enjoy sitting on my balcony with a drink. Since you can be walking around with a drink anywhere else on the ship, it would be very hard to enforce.

There was an older lady on a ship that was over on another board (the slow side) talking about how upset they were that they could not drink in their room. The whole story was odd. Doesn't matter to us that much either way.

Haven't heard that one. It is now against the rules to smoke inside a cabin, but okay on balconies. A $250 cleaning bill is assessed against those who smoke in the room.

As an ex-smoker I applaud this rule! I never knew how bad the smell was until we quit. I can smell it a mile away. Although they can't stop the smoking all together, I'm happy it is no linger allowed in the cabins. I will probably use less Lysol & Febreeze this trip!
