I saw pictures & read posts about a parade the first night on Voyager class ships? anyone know about this? Does RC still have the midnight buffet? I have seen/heard they have done away with the buffet? anyone know?

Yes, they have a welcome aboard parade the first night on the Voyager class ships (and the Freedom class too). I have not been on RCI cruise for a while so I can't answer you buffet question for sure unless you are referring to an every night midnight buffet. Most of the lines (ok, all the ones I have sailed on) no longer do a nightly midnight buffet. This is due to the fact that most of the ships have some form of 24 hr food service (pizza, deli, grill etc) and they don't need another form of food service. However, they typically have a "gala buffet" once in a cruise. If that is what you are referring to, I believe they still do some form of that.

Thanks Jim, I figured the "midnight buffet" would only be one or two nights. I have seen pictures of the sculptures & wanted to see it first hand....

They've done away with the Gala Buffet. There is a midnight buffet on the pool deck one night.

The buffet out by the pool is pretty darn good too but, it can get pretty crowded.

The last time I was on the Voyager of the Seas, they had a parade on the Promanade one night, and a dining staff parade with chefs, cooks, waitstaff from all of the three tiers of the main diningroom one night....plus a midnight dessert/chocolate buffet....always fun on a cruise.....Happy sailing...
