Cabin Guarantees on Mariner of the Seas

I'll be sailing on the Mariner of the Seas in Nov 04. I have a Guarantee Deluxe Oceanview with Balcony (Category E). Has anyone experienced a guarantee on this ship? Is there a chance (as slight as it may seem) of being upgraded to a suite, or should I just bank on getting a Category E room. I've never had a guarantee cabin before and am very nervous about what we get, but really wanted the balcony and this was the only choice available. Thanks for your help.

There is very little liklihood that you will be bumped to a suite, but you may move up into the next balcony category sabove E. However, having been in one of their "E" category cabins with balcony - it is quite nice and wouldn't be too disappointed if that is what you end up with.

NancyN - thank you very much for your reply. I deeply appreciate it. I have had experienced both the Category E and D on the Voyager and Adventure of the Seas and have to say (and agree with you) they were both fabulous! Category D is slightly larger, but not by much. I am looking forward to the Mariner cruise. Thanks again.
