Has any one been on this ship?

We have been on the Grandeur twice. The last time was 12/05. She is a beautiful ship and we look forward to cruising on her again at a future date.

That being said, she is no youngster. There were a few signs of age such as worn, or soiled, carpet in the stairways and some tarnished brass in the cabin decor. These were such minor things compared to the overall beauty of the ship.

She is indeed grand and you will love her!

I have also sailed on her twice and agree with Nadine - the Vision class ships are beautiful - although not the newest in the RCCL fleet. If you compare her to the Freedom and Voyager class ships, she does not offer the same multiple venues - but I love the design. On both cruises the staff was exemplary and I was not at all disappointed.

thank you for your input. We will be traveling on newyears eve, is there usually any special events that night?

We sailed on the Granduer in april. The ship was great. The whole trip was for that matter. They can't do enough for you. The guy that took care of our cabin was wonderful. I know alot of people have commented about wear and tear of the ship, but we didn't see any of that. Our two sons and their girlfriends are crusing on the Granduer dec 16. I;m sure they'll have the trip of a lifetime. Have a great cruise, and be sure to go the "Quest."

Nadine is correct, the ship is beautiful. I sailed on it Sept. 06, first cruise and had the time of my life. Everyone was wonderful. I'd sail on that ship in a heart beat.
