Where to stay precruise night in Miami area

Hi:
I am thinking of getting to Miami on Friday night, I am cruising on Liberty on May 16th. Any ideas for trasportation to hotel and then to pier? Any ideas where I can research this? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There is a Holiday Inn that is right across the street from Bayside. Bayside has shopping, food & entertainment. This is also very close to the dock so it's a very short cab ride which doesn't cost very much.

That's where we stay. It's the Holiday Inn Port of Miami.

I think I'll priceline for a hotel in Miami and see what I can get. I have heard people have had great success with that. Thanks again.
