Someone, anyone please HELP...My sister and I are going on our first cruise TOMORROW RC SOS. People are scaring the @#^% outta me about this embarkation process. How long is it? I've been told 2-5 hours. The ship leaves Port Canaveral at 5p. I'm told no one can board after 4p. We're driving in from ATL. What's a good time to arrive at the port?

Embarkation is no problem i suspect they are just trying to have fun with you.

Get to the port by 12 noon and enjoy the ship before sailaway.
Enjoy the cruise

P.S. I hope you are leaving today for the drive down

I dont think you will have to worry about 2-5 hours. Embarkation is alot smoother than most peole think. It took us around 45 mintues to get throught the terminal and on the ship. Hope this helps.

I agree, its really no big deal...as long as you have your documentation on hand. Board around noon if you can...you'll have a great experience.

board around noon, eat lunch in the windjammer and then go lay by the pool (pack your suit, towel and a change of close in a carry on, it could take a few hours to get your luggage)

You may be on your way by now but relax, I agree that the process is not that awful. Get their early as mentioned here and you will be fine.

Don't stress about the luggage either, they will eventually be placed inside your room or outside your door.

Leave stress and worry behind! Happy cruising.
