Hi BWhiteLeigh,

Welcome to cruie-chat! Deck two cabins are either interior or oceanview. Both very tiny cabins by todays standards. The interior are 119 sq ft and the OV are 122 sq ft. Deck two is the starting deck for passenger cabins on RCCL ships so it's down low. I hope you enjoy your cruise. If you're anything like me you won't be spending a great deal of time in the cabin anyway.

Cheers, Neil

thx for the info. i hope we will only use it for dressing/sleeping: )

want to enjoy the Ship and get our $ worth.

I think the only thing that had me wondering was the reviews i read about the smell being on the 2nd fl and what not........i know it's an older ship. i'm sure we'll be just fine.

thx again and time is drawing near for us.

I am sure you have seen the commercials for the new flameless candles air fresheners, invest the $20 for one and a spare, I also travel with a bottle of Fabreze and even in hotel rooms, go straight for the drapes and bed covers. This is NOT to say there is anything wrong with the SOS, but I have a THING about smells, and burn candles at home. This is a safe way to refresh your room, choose an island breeze or your fav smell. Works for me, travelling in hotels and cruises, walking into my room is always AHHHHHH.

I too take Febreeze but also a small can of Lysol. A personal size bottle of had sanitizer also comes in handy on & off the ship. Better safe than sick!
