We are going on the Jewel of the Seas cruise on 11/19/05 for an 8-night cruise to the Eastern Carribean. We are leaving out of Ft. Lauderdale and are Florida residents. On previous cruises we just had to present our birth certificates and driver's license. Are we now required to have passports?

This November you will still be okay with just a driver's license and BC, but starting Jan. 1 -you will need a passport. If you don't have one you might just want to go ahead and start the process now - before there is a backlog of applicaations and/or the price goes up.
