Hi,
i am wondering any suggestions for what we can do to kill time before we catch our flight home. Our ship arrives back in miami at 8 a.m. our flight leaves at 8:00 p.m. we were thinking about renting a car just so we can store our luggage some where while we check out miami. Does anyone have any other suggestions...maybe about somewhere we can store our luggage without renting a car?

Hi, we're probably going to have the same problem when we get back to Miami. There are a ton of websites that come up when you type miami into a search engine. Maybe you could find something interesting that way?

The cruise line will have some excursions available that you can purchase. They'll collect you and your luggage at the pier, take you on the tour, and drop you at the airport at the end of the tour. The tours won't last 12 hours, but there should be at least a couple to choose from, as an alternative to renting a car on your own.

Also, there are independent companies running all kinds of tours for after your cruise as well.

Hello, we had a similair situation after leaving from our cruise. We did an everglades airboat tour that ate up about 4-5 hours of time. I believe it was Tigertail tours in Miami. A little pricey I felt but a one time experience that was really great. We still had quite a wait at the airport, so something more time consuming would have been better due to kids being with our group. They do bring your luggage so no worries with that, then they dropped us at the airport in Tampa, so transportation was inclusive. Good luck!

I was wondering the same thing what do people do when they get off the ship and have all that time before the flight so the input was great info.

I'd opt for renting a car. There's plenty to see in Miami. South beach, Crandon Park Zoo, Crandon Beach, Miami Seaquarium, Villa Vizcaya, etc. That way you can keep your luggage with you and go where you want to go. Best wishes!
