Where are you getting the information that states only 2 peices of luggage each? The cruiselines do not limit your luggage, but if you are flying the airlines have limits as to how much you may carry.
If you are flying to the ship, then the airlines usually limit your luggage to 2 check-in pieces per person and one carry on per person.
But if you are driving, you may carry as much luggage as you want, their is no limit, just keep in mind that the storage on a cruise ship is limited in your cabin and you want to be able to put the luggage away such as under the bed or in the floor of the closet.
