We are excited about our "After Turkey Day" cruise. However, we haven't heard much about the Voyager lately. Are there any "Must See" or "Must Do" activities suggested for the Voyager? P.S. Our ports are: Nassau, St. Thomas, San Juan, and Labadee.

We sailed on Voyager in January on the same itenerary as yours. We had a wonderful time. We didn't take any excursions, just strolled through the towns and had a wonderful time. Labadee is a wonderful location to just kick back and relax and get away from the crowd. Watch some of the vendors there. I really got irritated with some of them when they grabbed my arm or wouldn't take "no" for an answer. You can easily stay away from them if you choose to not go through the market.

We loved Voyager. We ate in the dining room every night, had wonderful table mates and our waiters were fantastic. Food was pretty good too. I was a little disappointed in the Windjammer by lack of service with drinks and no help at all with seating compared to say Enchantment of the Seas great service in the Winjammer. WE were in balcony stateroom 6540. Really nice room and we really enoyed the balcony. We did notice a very distinct mildew smell midship when we walked back and forth. We did not notice if at the front or the back of the ship. I hope you have as great a cruise as we did!!

Tex, I agree that service in the Windjammer on Enchantment is excellent. It was the same on a few cruises on Majesty of the Seas, too. I'm disappointed to hear that your Windjammer experience on Voyager was not up to the same standard. I assumed it was fleet-wide. I hope they fix it!

Sandy, we were really thrilled with the attention that we had on Enchantment. In fact, we enjoyed eating in the Windjammer much more than the dining room. We had the same waiter every time and he was outstanding and catered to our every need....most of the time without aking. Wonderful experience!

Thanks so much for the feed back. It sounds as if you had a great time and did what we were planning on doing (just cruising the ports but not the excursions).

We've been to Labedee before, so we were planning to hit the private beach again because it was wonderful. However we weren't so sure about any of the other ports.

Tex, you said that you had a balcony on the 6th deck. How was your view? Is it one where the view is obstructed unless you are standing? We were thinking about upgrading to a balcony on this floor, but heard that there is a metal frame that won't allow you to look out from your room or the bed. Is that true?

The outside wall of the balcony is metal up to waist level and you would have a hard time, if not impossible time seeing the ocean from laying on the bed. Otherwise, it had an excellent view from either standing or sitting in the chairs on the balcony although they are fairly small. One wall seperating the other balconies is metal from top to bottom and the other is glazed glass. From what I saw and remember, I think most of the balconies were the same.. We would not have a problem booking the same room again. Oh, we also had an excellent view of one of the lifeboats when we looked straight down...hahaha. Hope this helpsENJOY!!
