We are leaving in about 20 days for this cruise. Just wondering what night is formal night on SOS? I'm hoping its not the day we are in Nassau, as we have tons of activities there we want to do and are having a bit of an argument trying to plan everything. I signed us up for an early morning excursion, my DH wants to golf, I want to shop and go to the beach and I don't think we are going to be able to get it all in.
I may be wrong but I know on my Freedom cruise the 2nd night is a formal night and I believe the 2nd to last or last night is the 2nd formal night, dont know if that helps or not.
If you are doing the 4-day cruise on August 14, then the formal night will be on the evening of your Nassau stop, unless things have changed since last year.
We were on the 4 night cruise on SOS on July 10th. Our formal night was suppose to be the 2nd night (after we left Coco Cay). Due to bad weather in Coco Cay, our itinirary was flipped and our formal night was moved to night 3 (Nassau). We ended up missing our 6 p.m. seating because we were diving. Not pleased since we spent $100 to rent a tux.
For some reason I was thinking it would be on the night that we were in Nassau, but on another board someone told me that it is the 2nd night, just after leaving Coco Cay. I hope this is the case, as we have tons of stuff in Nassau planned and I don't want to have to rush through things to get back to the ship on time.
Thanks for that link. It's exciting to read about those events. However I don't have time right now to read everything, I can't wait to get to work and print it out for my reading this evening.
Got any other links to exciting things about my ship?
