hi all,
after reading on several of the cruise chat sites that people are calling customer service and are being told that (specifically the explorer april 24th cruise)the labadee stop is now freeport. this even after on last week (march 28) rccl's own press release states that the stop will be nassau. i became concerned as i'm planning to book my excursions this weekend and i wanted to be sure. 10 min ago i phoned rccl and spoke with someone named roberto and the first words out of his mouth after i asked what was the new stop for explorer on the 24th were 'oh, it's going to be freeport'. i told him that that was contradicting what the rccl website posted on it's press release dated march 28. he put me on hold for about two minutes then came back and said 'lets see here, voyager, explorer, ahh yes, you are correct the stop is nassau'. the way he was reading it appears as if he'd gone to the website and was reading a print out of the press release. somehow rccl need to get all their customer service reps on the same page or there is going to be a lot of upset passengers. can u imagine the number of people who will be booking for freeport excursions and be surprised when the ship pulls into nassau. talk about chaos at the excursion desk.
