What can 18 year olds do?

I will be traveling with two 18 yos. If you can only be 14-17 to be in the teen disco but are not old enough to abide by RC's stupid policy of having to be 21 years old to drink, thereby making it impossible to get into the adult disco, what is there for 18 yos to do at night? If RC is going to stick with this new drinking age policy (which is silly because 18 yos are allowed to drink on every island the ship stops at!) they should extend the ages for the teen areas to include 18 & 19 yos.

Hello Jackiecat, welcome to Cruise-Chat. If the two 18 year old teens traveling with you are your children, you can sign a waiver allowing them to have alcohol.

I do hope the 18 year olds find something better to do than just sit and drink....a cruise is so much more....Have a great cruise...

Bear in mind the waiver is only good for cruises out of Europe and South America. Cruises that leave from U.S. ports do not allow for a waiver.

And also, the age for the "adult" disco is 18 and not 21.
