In about a month, forum moderators Sandy and Cruise Fanatic will be doing preview cruises aboard the Oasis Of The Seas. I thought it would be nice if we put together a few questions about the ship, and see if they can get some answers.

Some caveats: They can't answer questions about pricing. They won't be able to view every category of cabin and can't answer questions about specific cabins. And with 24 dining options and countless bars and lounges, they won't be able to sample them all.

I'll start things off with my question:

How will the paperless bar receipt process work?

Are the cabins with balconies facing Boardwalk, etc. have a tendency to be noisy?

How ist the open space in the 2-level concierge lounge? Is there a gallery at deck 12 and a window over both levels (are there any windows at all)?

Is there a suite area on the top deck?

Could you clarify that? Do you mean a private lounge for the loft suites that surround the dual exhaust stacks? There is the Loft Lounge located on deck 17.

Will the show "Hair" run every night, or only some nights.

I understood the musical running is "Hairspray"

It is Hairspray. I think it is one of the shows you have to get a reservation for, and will be shown several times during the cruise but not necessarily nightly. But, we'll get the full story when our intrepid travel agents return from the ship!

Is this ship's size and design really better? SOMETIMES, less is more............

Sandy 10-20-2009 10:24 AM

I'm making note of all the questions and will try to get answers.
