I come from a dry place also. The humidity is rough getting used to if you've never been in it but some adapt soon. For those that don't go to a local dollar store or "walmart" type and pick up a little personal fan. I had people standing behind me to catch a breeze when all was still. They are small enough for your pocket where the kind attached to bottles can get in the way. Best $1 I spent during my Florida and island excursions. You'll have a great time. .
