Cape Canaveral hotel

We are about five and a half hours from port canaveral. We decided to save money by driving so that we may splurdge in others. The drive is not so bad.

Has anyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Express? I think the ones already mentioned here sound good but my husband wondered about the Holiday Inn.

There are several hotles to choose from in Cocoa Beach. If I'm not mistaken, the Holiday Inn Express is located right on the beach. There is also a very nice "Holiday Inn" across from the La Quinta, but I believe its a little pricy$$ It looks like a resort. We walked through there to get to the beach. Also, a very nice Hampton Inn on the beach there as well. No matter which hotel you choose, you will never be more than 10 minutes drive to the port. The Radisson being the closest. You can see the top of the ship from the Radisson. Have fun, and don't forget to go to Ron Jon's surf shop!!
