Hi! I just booked my 2nd cruise! My DD and I are going on Majesty of the Seas March 10-14. On the 14th, our flight back home doesn't leave until 8pm. Because we'll have suitcases seeing Miami may be difficult. What is the absolute latest time that they will allow you to stay on the ship until?

Thanks!

I wouldn't count on being able to stay on much beyond 10AM.

Which airline are you flying? AA may offer baggage checking right their at the port. You could check you bags into your flight right then and not have to worry about them.

I don't think I'd want to stay aboard as late as possible. Nothing will be open so all you can do is sit around.

Thanks for your help! Unfortunately, we are flying Air Canada, we're Canadian, and it doesn't look like they are one of the participating airlines for the Valet service. Is there anything around the airport? could we check in and then go do something close by?

My advice would be to go to a nearby NICE hotel and tip a bellman handsomely. Then you are free to roam as you wish. The last time we were in San Juan, we got off the boat before 9am, went to the Marriott by taxi, checked our bags, used the pool, had a nice lunch, tipped the bellman to get us a taxi and everyone was happy.

The Intercontinetal or the Hyatt in Miami are good choices for this kind of layover break.

Well, there's not much I can say about this, other than they have to get the ship turned around and ready for the next sailing later that day, so you probably would be forced to get off the ship by 9:30 am.
