Higher Prices Coming from Royal Caribbean?

Ther are lots of ports in the world where one could place a ship and do really good business....see the AUS/NZ cruises 2008 they are almost sold out...and cruising is still agrowing market in just about every country in the world outside the US.

There are still very exciting destinations to be discovered out there. Why does just about every ship have to be in the caribb half the year??

I don't know moeve, except that the Caribbean is awesome. Just wish they'd add more ports down there. I guess it's because the ships are so big they can't get into some of the islands like St. Croix, St. Barts (I think Crystal goes there), St. Bartholemy (one of the smaller Princess ships goes there once in a great while), etc. Even though Trinidad was not a great beach/snorkeling island, it was a fun place to visit. If it weren't for the ferry to St. John, they could do away with St. Thomas for me. Martinique and St. Maarten would be my next choices for removal, but all in all I love the Caribbean.

The smaller Islands have too many high price landowners who really don't want anyone there other than those who are just a wealthy as them... They won't have any ship come with 1.000 cheap cruisers....
