Royal Caribbean announced that its first quarter profit fell 92% from the same period last year - even though its revenue rose by 6% to over $1.2 Billion for the quarter (wow).
Reportedly, the profit decrease is due in part to higher operating expenses for its cruises (plus, I assume, becuase of its purchase of Pullmantur.) Does this spell price increases for its future sailings? Should loyal RCL cruisers send in donations to help the line? I am willing to start the ball rolling by returning the t-shirts I got with my ShipShape Dollarshttp://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif |
