Hi everyone! My hubby and I have been considering Explorer of the Seas in February 2008 for a few months and finally booked yesterday. It's eight months off, but I'm still as thrilled as if it were next week!

I had a quick question. I've read a ton of good reviews of the Explorer but just came across a bad one on another site where the guy said he had a promenade room and ended up staring at wire and mesh in the ceiling because of the location of the room. He also said he had problems with noise in the room.

Has anyone ever stayed in a promenade room, and if so, were there any noise issues? Also, we'll be in 8275 - can any RCCL experts tell me if we'll have any view problems in that room?

Thanks so much! We are excited for our first RCCL cruise!

I was in a PR on the Navigator in March. We were on deck six and had no problem with noise. I think you'll really like your room . I was on the Explorer in April and the thought the ship was fantastic.
