Good day all i was wondering where in this thread can I find something about valet baggage handling I think this was discussed once upon a time I do believe SonnyV or Dave spoke on this. I guess what I am looking for is some info about such a thing, because I don't have a man going with me and hey some help with my baggage would be a blessing.

spritfilled,
There will be some help for you at the airport. Also the taxi/bus can pull right up to the ship terminal and put your bags at the area to be loaded into the ship. Here, you have a dilemma. Do you tip the taxi/bus driver or do you tip the guy that loads the bags to the ship. I will just give a little to both. This way everyone is happy and you maybe out just a few bucks. I sure someone may have a better system, so I'll let them write in. Happy sailings. Don't forget to report back

We always get a porter at the airport. They should be available to take you luggage inside. Some airports have curb check-in and the porters take your luggage from there. Tip them a couple of buck per piece of luggage. At the port a porter will take you luggage as soon as you get out of your shuttle. When you land at the airport, find a porter and he will take your luggage right from the carrocel.

When you get off the ship there will be porters at the carrocel as well. They'll take your luggage off the carrocel and take them out to where the shuttles are.
