We had to book by a staircase, room 2116 on enchantment of th seas.... Will the noise at night and early morning be too loud?

If you are really having a great cruise and partaking in all the activities and off shore experiences, and the evening activities, you will never hear a thing as when your head hits the pillow, it will be Sweet Dreams....

Enjoy your cruise.

No problem. As mentioned in a couple of other posts recently, noise is never the problem people think it might be near a staircase or elevator.

I agree, you don't need to worry about the noise from the staircase...the band in the disco will drown it out

We were on the Rhapsody last Sept, and I remember the music being very loud in the hallway, but when the cabin door was closed, not a sound. Also, we were very close to the elevator/stairs. Never heard anything. Those rooms are practically soundproof.
