Scuba Divers & Splendor 3/7/03

Anyone have experience diving on cruise vacations or any other divers on the Splendor leaving Galveston 3/7/03?

We are bringing our own equipment and our travel agent nearly had a heart attack. We had to get it pre-approved through the cruise lines and were told we couldn't bring any dive knives or even paramedic shears.

Anyone have experience??????
